Jisu Lee, PhD, RN, is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in digital health interventions and population health. She earned her BSN and MSN from CHA University of Nursing and completed her PhD at Yonsei University College of Nursing, where she investigated habitual caffeine consumption in emerging adulthood through a mixed-methods approach. Her research focuses on the social determinants of health (SDOH) and behavior change techniques (BCTs), particularly among populations with high health vulnerabilities. She has developed digital health interventions to improve dietary habits in adolescents and is expanding her work to include racial and ethnic groups as well as young adults. Jisu’s passion for community health began during her four years as an emergency room nurse at Samsung Medical Center, where she witnessed firsthand the impact of socio-environmental factors on health outcomes. She is dedicated to leveraging digital technology to reduce health disparities, developing interventions tailored to different digital literacy levels, and promoting health equity by empowering vulnerable populations to engage in sustainable health behaviors. In her free time, she enjoys running, choreographing dance routines, and going on road trips during holidays.
