Dr. Sun Young Shim is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in nursing and public health. After completing her undergraduate studies in nursing, she began her career at the Pediatric Center of Samsung Medical Center. She earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in epidemiology from the Yonsei University School of Public Health and a Ph.D. from the Yonsei University College of Nursing. Dr. Shim’s research interests focus on promoting health equity among vulnerable populations. She has conducted research on the social determinants of health, health behaviors, cardiovascular health outcomes, and associated risk factors.
