Chaehyeon Kang, MSN, BSN, RN is a PhD student and full-time research assistant at the College of Nursing, Yonsei University. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Yonsei University and began her nursing career in the psychiatric unit at Severance Hospital, which deepened her interest in mental health nursing. She also worked as a teaching assistant at Yonsei University (community health nursing) for nearly two years, where she gained insight into the expanding role of nurses in community-based health care. Her research focuses on how individuals respond to everyday stressors, including societal and environmental changes such as the climate crisis, and how these factors influence mental health outcomes. She aims to develop strategies that promote psychological resilience and sustainable mental health care in an increasingly complex and unpredictable world.
