Dr. Hyeonkyeong Lee is Dean and Professor at Yonsei University School of Nursing, where her primary research interests include population health and global health. After earning her bachelor's and master's degrees from Yonsei University School of Nursing, she completed her doctorate at the University of Illinois Chicago. With a focus on multicultural populations, social determinants of health (SDOH), and participatory research, Dr. Lee has led numerous international collaborations to develop culturally relevant, community-based behavior change interventions. She works to reduce inequities and improve health outcomes by examining health disparities in diverse communities and designing programs targeting at-risk populations. Throughout her career, she has maintained strong partnerships with universities abroad to promote cross-cultural knowledge exchange and evidence-based practice. She has also practiced nursing leadership for global sustainable health goals through numerous projects to advance nursing education in underdeveloped countries and improve health systems in resource-limited populations. As a dedicated mentor and scholar, she continues to innovate in the field of nursing education, empowering the next generation of nurses to advance the field of nursing nationally and globally.
